Big spoon, little Kira

Lots has happened in the past few months! Despite many eye-pokes, Kira is slowly mastering the use of the spoon and is getting used to the idea of rice cereal. She experienced her first snowfall (okay, it was an inch of snow that disappeared quickly, but it felt like more!) and loved it. She has also made a ton of new friends, especially with the magnificent Friday bunch (mamas and babes alike!) She deftly captures the attention of so-called "strangers" at the supermarket with enviable magnetism, reducing burly men to giggling teddybears. Kira has always been vocal, but lately she is experimenting with new sounds that could only be called "acoustically genre-shattering". We think her high-frequency notes are creating a new FM radio station, and we wonder what the neighbors think that we are doing to her!

Kira is so much fun -- we feel so lucky to be her folks. Completely enamoured are we ... can you tell? Check out the pics -- there are some really fun ones. http://picasaweb.google.com/monica.moran215/Kira121507
