Hello everyone! It's been a while since our last post and much has happened... Kira is growing before our very eyes, connecting more and more with the world around her and the people in it that love her. Dan and Monica continue to grow and learn their way around the new pitfalls of parenthood -- how to bathe a squirmy wet fish, surviving a ravenous baby during a growth spurt, how best to deal in the aftermath of an exploded diaper etc...

Autumn finally arrived after an unusually extended summer, it's a good thing we got our apple pickin' and pumpkin selectin' in before the rainy days of mid-October set in. Kira is so strong and lovely, still cheerful despite some early teething bouts. She likes to stand up, wiggle, fly, babble, admire bubbles and toes, put everything in her mouth, smile, snuggle and eat. She likes long walks in stollers, sucking on her fingers, and watching people eat. She is such a delight -- we hope you enjoy the pics on Picasa.
